Types of Graduate Level Writing

Graduate school is likely to present students with types of writing assignments that they are unfamiliar with. In core courses in this program, professors will ask students to complete everything from annotated bibliographies to papers for symposia. The following handouts cover many of the types of assignments professors will assign, and provide information about what is required for each assignment.*
